The Western Ghats Agro-Forest Lab, established by Dr. Parashram Patil, is a leading applied research and field innovation centre dedicated to transforming agriculture in ecologically fragile and rainfed regions. Located in the UNESCO-recognised Western Ghats biodiversity hotspot, the Lab offers a unique platform where scientific research, technology, and farmer-centric models converge to create scalable, climate-resilient agroforestry solutions. Our work focuses on building evidence-based, market-linked, and ecologically restorative production systems that strengthen rural livelihoods while regenerating landscapes.
